Aluminum Case Co. stock cases have been designed, sized and configured to provide customers with a practical, cost effective solution for their most common case requirements. ACC stock case styles and sizes are as follows:

Our Style "C" case is designed to combine the polished, professional appearance of a suitcase with the superior performance characteristics of an engineered enclosure. Standard design features include:

• .040" Aluminum shell thickness (standard).
•  Riveted construction using nickel plated steel rivets on 1" centers.
• Tongue-and-groove design along the entire joining edge for precise cover-to-bottom alignment.
•  Tubular steel front handle (other than Models 154, 156 & 184).
• Continuous full-length piano hinge for enhanced case rigidity and maintenance free service operation (other than Models 154, 156 & 184).
• Twin Cover Stays (18” L or larger cases).
• Steel reinforcement at all case corners.

Ever wonder how a bank moves coins from one facility to the next? Or possibly how medical equipment in Alaska is air lifted from one remote village to another? Generally speaking, these customers all have the same need. And that is to protect and transport heavy contents on a routine, continuous basis. Maintenance free performance and extreme durability are key and that is where our Style "B" case comes in.

Style "B" is a workhorse case designed to house your entire payload in the bottom portion of the case. With its flat, overlapping cover and continuous sidewall construction (i.e. no seams or breaks in the sidewalls of the case), it is intended for routine use and applications where a light-duty case will simply not hold up. In fact, it is not uncommon for a customer to return one to us after years of use simply to have new locks, or possibly a new handle installed. The case itself new gives up. Standard design features include:

• .050" Aluminum shell thickness (standard).
•  Riveted construction using nickel plated steel rivets on 1” centers.
• 3/4 Overlap design with cover overlapping case (1-3/8") on three sides.
• Tubular steel front handle (7" H or less) or end handle (with 90° stop) provided on each side. [Top handle optional.]
• Continuous full-length piano hinge for enhanced case rigidity and maintenance free service operation (18" L or larger cases).
• Steel reinforcement at all case corners.

"B" cases are stocked in the following sizes and are available for immediate shipment. DIMENSION DETAILS

Over the years, we have manufactured Style "B" cases in hundreds of sizes, and most likely, we will be able to accommodate your size requirements closely. Our Style "A" Transit case is designed for those applications where the cover of the case needs to be fully detachable from the bottom of the case. Style "A" cases are offered in a variety of sizes and can be outfitted with detachable (take-a-part) hinges or alternatively, draw latches along each side. When used for transporting payload of concentrated mass, our reverse design Style "A" case is recommended. This design features a shallow case bottom with a unusually deep cover. In this configuration, the payload does not need to be lifted out of the case - the case is simply lifted off of the payload.
