CUSTOM CASES

The case industry is full of general purpose merchandise. But what do you do if your application doesn't work with an off-the-shelf product? It's simple: call us.

We take pride in our design and engineering staff, as well as our rapid-fire ability to produce custom cases when circumstances dictate. If your requirement is straightforward such as a modification to one of our standard sizes, we can provide you with custom-sized cases within a few days of our receipt of your order. If you need them sooner, just ask. On the other hand, if your project is more involved and requires design efforts, prototypes and prelaunch product testing, we will endeavor to adapt to your time constraints. We've been doing it for over 60 years.

Case Programs. For many of our customers, the case we manufacture for them is far more than a carrying case. It is in fact their end product. In situations such as this, our case is used as a product kit or possibly, instruments are built directly into it. The aggregate result is a finished product that is ultimately sold to an end user. In this context, examples could include motor controls, testing devices, product kits and the like - some of which are pictured below.

Ultra-Duty Capability. In certain applications, tough isn't good enough. In these circumstances, precision engineering and load analysis are necessary in the design of a case intended for unique duty. That's where we come in. For example - should a railcar derail, a crew moves in with specialty equipment (jack screws, etc.) for quick action. The equipment weighs hundreds of pounds and must be housed with all auxiliary components and hardware. Most likely, the equipment gets to the scene courtesy of an ACC custom engineered case fabricated in a specialty [high strength] aluminum alloy. It may sound impressive, but it's just another day on the job for our team. If you have a unique application, let us know. Possibly we've been there before.

Our team possesses substantial knowledge in case design and manufacturing techniques, as well as specialized knowledge concerning fabrication in aluminum alloys. Below are examples of select custom aluminum transport containers that we have manufactured. The unit in the center photograph was used to house and transport satellite equipment. Arguably it's one of the largest "cases" we have manufactured.
